One New 16" Wilkum (Welcome) Zook's Hex Sign
This is one of Uncle Jack's Lancaster County Pennsylvania Dutch Crafts. With selected items ideal to give for a House Warming, Wedding Shower, Birthday, Employee Recognition, Christmas Present or just keep it for yourself.
Uncle Jack personally drives to The Pennsylvania Dutch Area
(Greater Lancaster, PA), and hand selects all these items to ensure
quality and authenticity. My hex signs are made just outside of
New Holland, PA and I buy them directly from the craftspeople.
Signs are crafted in sizes 8", 16" and 24" diameter. I only offer the
most popular 8", 16" and 24"size for E-Bay auction, due to the
vast variety of patterns. If you don't see an item up for bid
contact me and if I have it in stock,
I will put it up as a special auction just for you !
Be aware that some new signs are being
sold by other vendors that are imported!

This sign is new, sealed in plastic and made of
Double Tempered Sign Board,
decorated with a Silk Screen Process
Wood verses sign board
I have chosen craftsmen who use sign board over those who make signs out of wood. Wood may warp, crack, bleed and or fade colors over a long period of time, tempered sign board is more stable and holds color longer.
Instructions for indoor or outdoor use come with the sign.

Wilkum Hex Sign
A well known design often seen on home entry ways. The large, stylized Pennsylvania Dutch greeting, "Wilkum," extends a warm and friendly welcome to all. Wishes for a happy home and many friends is the meaning of this sign. It features a large "welcome greeting" (in German) to one and all. The red, centrally placed heart symbolizes a loving home and heart. Tulip "couples", show the importance friends and family play by showering the home with love and support. A Distelfink bird provides an added measure of good luck and happiness to all.
This is a photo of Uncle Jack's 12 foot x 16 foot shed.
With a Double Distlefink 16" in diameter prepared as instructed.
The sign is about 12 years old and has not been recoated
with polyurethane since it was hung.
