This is a 1880's Sterling Silver Ketcham McDougall Wide Gold Band Thimble. In the apex (inside top) is the trademark for Ketcham McDougall. It is a large K with a small m and d on each side. Below this it is stamped STERLING. It has a wide gold band. It is stamped with the size 9, and engraved with MEC. There are no holes and it is in round. The thimble is 14/16" tall, and the diameter of the opening is 10/16". The only thing I ask of the international bidders is that they please speak English and can communicate with me. I only speak English. As far as shipping I will only charge you what the auctual shipping is plus .50 cents for packaging. I do advise that you buy the insurance (except for the international bidders) in case the item is broken or lost in shipping. I will not be responsible. eBay will only allow us to accept Paypal for payment. No money orders or checks. I try to post new thimble auctions every Sunday, and mail your package on Thursdays.
