This is a very interesting proclamation issued by committee for the retirement of W.L. Anderson, an Assistant Engineer of the PRR. According to online info, he retired in the 1880's.
Document states that over $300 was donated for retirement gifts, and the committee has purchased: a first-class HOWARD watch with an 18k hunting case.
Because so much money was donated, the committee also purchased: 156-piece French china breakfast dinner and tea set, and a silver tea set.
Measures 5.5" x 8.25"
Bill-head is in absolutely excellent condition, with no rips, tears, holes, or repairs.
