Here on offer is one antique mid/late victorian period wicker 'acorn' style lidded string and wool case with a delightful hooped carrying handle,this little case would have been carried by nannies or maids or mothers during the period stuffed with various cottons,wools,buttons needles threads and sewing parafenalia with which to carry out on the spot repairs when out and about with family and children,in perfect condition throughout this really is a fine piece of antique collectable sewing habidasherie indeed,..no damage of any kind,no loss of wicker or stitching or threading and the lining to the interior still quite intact.
