Art Deco Bronze Bausch & Lomb Science Award Medallion

Family Tree Antiques presents this bronze medallion made by Bausch Lomb during the mid 20th century. This is an 'Honorary Science Award' and comes in its original box with paperwork. The back of the box flips open to become a handy frame.
Condition: It is in excellent condition with no signs of damage.
Age: The approximate age of the item is, circa mid to later 20th c.
Markings: It is clearly marked on the bottom with the BL mark (see photo).
Country of Origin: This item was made in the U.S.A.
Material: The material is bronze.
Measurements: The medallion measures about 1 x 2 across.
