This is a MONEY BARREL mechanical coin bank.
It appears to be an antique. It appears to have been a promotion item for Springville Banking Co. in Springville Utah.
It includes the cardboard box that has these words printed on it: Start with a Coin End with a Barrel of Money. It sounds like it has a penny or a dime inside. I don't have the key.
It lists the US Patent No. 1458146 - Chicago Thrift Co. It appears to be about 3 tall and is made of metal.
