Item#A-GA/116. Up for auction is half of a mule shoe we recovered from Site A-GA; Chickamauga, Georgia. Artifacts were recovered from private property with land owners permission. We are fortunate enough to be able to relic hunt around some of the more important battles of the American Civil War. I can not express the feeling of recovering an artifact knowing its deadly mission. I had ancestors that fought on both sides during the Civil War. To put your self in the mindset of a soldier during this period of history takes a greater imagination than I possess. Men on both sides had a great sense of honor courage.
