Linen Postcard of Fruit Hill. On the back it reads Half mile west of Chillicothe. Built about 1800 by Gen. Duncan McArthur, one of the founders of the city. Member of the Legislature, Speaker of the House, Congressman, Brig. Gen. U.S.A. War of 1812, commanding army of the Northwest, Governor of Ohio 1830-32. Died 1839. Home also of William Allen, McArthur' son-in-law. Congressman, U.S. Senator 1837-49, Governor 1873-75. Died 1879. The walls of the house were three feet thick of stone quarried on the estate. House destroyed by fire 1920. The postcard is in fair condition with little wear around the edges and has slight color discoloration on the front and some color discoloration on the back and is postally unused. This is an older card as the copyright is 1938.

1) Shipping/Handling to US is $2.00 and Internationally will vary depending on area-please dont go by Ebay's calculations as they are wrong shipping fee's are fixed and not negotiable. Shipping is first class 2-5 working days. I ship my items in bubble wrap envelopes with cardboard around the card to protect it. If you are interested in insurance please let me know. Shipping is higher due to price of gasoline and high quality packing supplies used. Also my shipping costs are higher than others as I start my cards alot lower than others do.
2) If payment is not received after 10 days of win, I reserve the right to re-list the item file a non-paying bidder report with Ebay.
3) Please include the item name and number to ensure fast shipping..
4) If the item happens to go to my store and if you like it, but feel it should be lower, make me an offer, we will see.

I accept paypal, cashier's check and money order for all sales. I also accept personal checks I hold them until they clear and then mail out the merchandise. As of Oct. 1, 2008 Ebay has changed the rules and Paypal is the only form of payment accepted but you can also email me for other payment options. This policy is being implemented by EBAY, and was not of my choosing so I am sorry to all my customers if this causes an inconvenience please email me if you have any questions.
Money collected from my sales goes into an adoption fund my wife and I have set up as we cannot have our own biological children and the cost of adoption is very high.
