My wife picked this up at a garage sale roughly 10 or so years ago and, being she no longer has a use for it, asked me to list it on Ebay. I do not know how old it is but I really don't think it's too old because the brass socket area is clean and bright. It's a common type that fits most lanp recepticles and it's about 4 1/2" long. It is original, complete, and functions totally as designed.
