Lot of 4 vintage blotters
These vintage blotters are for 4 different companies. There is one for the Koppers Co. from Kearny, NJ for Tarmac. It has a July calendar on it for 1941, Tarmac tip, and a picture of the way they used to do it. This blotter is 8 3/4" long and 3 3/4" wide with a slight crease in the center, slightly bent edges, and slight soiling.
One is for The Washington Life Insurance Co. of New York. It is 8" long and 3 3/4" wide with slight darkening or soiling.
One is for Sundial Shoes. This one looks like it is for childrens shoes because there is a boy and girl on a bycicle and it says Bonnie, Laddie. It also says "$5.00 reward and a pair of new shoes to wearer who finds paper in heels, counters or soles." It is 6 3/8" long and 3 3/8" wide. It has the most wear of them all with creases, pencil marks, blotter stains on the back and a few small ones on the front.
The other one is for Ball Band boots. It is 6 1/4" long and 3 3/8" wide. There is a crease in the middle, a small pencil mark in the corner, and blotter stains on the back.
All of these would make great additions to a collection.
