Up for auction is a Genuine Red Arrow Bus Stop Sign. This service numbered 630 was operated jointly between Harris Park Transport and Westbus here in Sydney and travelled the route betwen Blacktown and Macquarie Centre via Carlingford Court. Not many people remember, but we had special buses for this route when it was first introduced, they were painted in a different livery, that being all white with, you guessed it, a 'Red Arrow' down the length of the bus.
This route still operates today but is no longer called the Red Arrow, it makes up part of Region 4 currently operated by Comfort DelGro Cabcharge.
The sign itself measures 30cms wide and 45cms high.
The sticker is a very high quality commercial grade vinyl sticker, made to withstand a tough outdoor climate for many many years.
The metal plate is 2.5mm thick and very rigid/strong.Obviously you won't find something like this anywhere else, this sign is brand new, never been fitted to a post.
