2 months ago at an auction i bought a box of old pictures, photos etc. Everything was old paper has that old smell from age. The photos are 6 x 4 roughly and appear to be from Spanish American war etc (Manilla, Philipines etc areas) era and the photographer was JD GIVENS out of San Francisco CA California. Most have his markings but some dont but still have the same description written on the bottom which would have been on the original negative for this picture. Some are #d as if there is a set or series of these of some sort. They are on a thinner paper, have some corner/surface wear and are yellowish on back from fading. ?'s please ask as I have never seen anything like these before they are interesting. The last batch i listed did real well and just decided today to do list some more since i had an inquiry on them.
