Here it is! Another great Chimp's Comix ebay auction!
Up for bids we have THE COMICS! An illustrated history of comic strip art by Jerry Robinson (Creator of the Joker from Batman comics and movie the Dark Knight)! Don't miss your chance to own this great collectible.
This is a big book! It tops out at 256 pages. It does include the slipcase. The slipcase, hardback and pages have all been yellowed (pictures have been lightened and makes the yellowing hard to see than it really is, my camera did not pick this up very well). I do NOT know what printing this is. It was printed in 1974. Most of the pages inside are in black and white with a few color pages mixed in.
This book is starting to get loose binding but seems to have all pages intact from my brief examination. (Not every page was flipped through, just very quickly.) This book would make a great gift for anyone who likes comic strips.
This item will be packaged as well as I possibly can do (see example pictures below). I fill the shipping boxes with packing peanuts to ensure safe delivery (when needed). Some items will be shipped in a padded envelope or box depending on the item. Of all the years we have been shipping items, we have only had 1 person complain about something breaking. We would have tried to work something out with them, but they did not contact us with the problem.
Because of this, we strongly recommend insurance. If insurance is not purchased, we can NOT be held accountable for loss or damage. We save all shipping receipts so that we can show you exactly when it was shipped.
Shipping will be $8 for this item. We do not offer refunds if shipping is actually lower than this. We use this to help cover our costs of packaging. Item will be shipped USPS First Class Priority with delivery confirmation. We will combine shipping to save you money, but shipping will be recalculated after the auctions end.
We wil combine shipping whenever possible. If you pay for the regular shipping before we give you the new calculated combined shipping, we will not give a refund. So please await our invoice with the combined shipping. Insurance will be calculated at the end of the auction based on how much this item ends at. Up to $100 will be $2.
Payment is accepted via money order or Paypal. Payment is expected within 10 business days of the end of the auction otherwise a NPB will be placed with ebay.

Items will be shipped ASAP after payment has cleared (within 5 business days, usually a lot faster). We will not ship outside the U.S. and we will not end this auction early for offers. Just bid on it if you are interested. Please DO NOT ask us to ship outside the U.S. or end the auction early.
