This specimen is part of an old collection we aquired. This material is perfect for a small cabinet display or can also yield a nice cut stone or cabochon. We live in Hiddenite, North Carolina less than 1/2 mile from the famous emerald hollow mine. This particular piece was found on a local farm, in the famous Hiddenite area. Most of our material will be specimens we have found on our farm or surrounding farms. We have recently started digging our property and hope to have lots of Hiddenite smokey quartz and hopefully some emeralds and other material.
