You are bidding on a 7 3/4" Victorian glass smoke bell: two colors, clear & blue. It is wheel cut (I believe this is the term - correct me if I am wrong) with a grape pattern and has an applied blue edge on the bottom. Handblown and outstanding! ..... Bid early, as my health is worsening and any items not receiving attention will be taken down if necessary. PLEASE look closely at the pictures before bidding. The cards are located in Canada but will be shipped from N.Y. State if the high bidder is from U.S.A.
Due to recent health issues, we will be listing more items from my family's collection, please watch for future listings. There are literally thousands of pieces of paper, memorabilia, etc. to go through. My uncle was a "One Day Wonder" for the Yankees in the mid-fifties (called up, sent back down the same day after a beer and a hamburger), while my Godfather was the Chicago Blackhawks farm club announcer for several years. My cousin rowed with Gerry Cheevers at the Collegiate in St. Catharines, Canada. It seems almost my entire family collected, and I ended up with their collections of sports items, glass, china, toys, etc. etc. Many of the items will be in areas I am not well versed in, so please ask any questions before bidding, with no returns or refunds.
High bidder to pay within 7 days of auction end by money order or certified funds only please. After 7 days non-paying bidders notices go out thru Ebay. Personal checks are held a minimum of 10 business days due to my bank not releasing funds until uncertified items clear.
