This auction is for a vintage late 1950's early 60's Space age Vornado Box fan....this is the elusive *deluxe* model V9730 that is electrically reversible,with the flick of a switch the fan can be set to pull air in or propel it outside!
This rare model features-a unique 5 blade metal fan that really moves the air * Three speed 3 amp motor,three speeds in both directions blowing in or out! Electrically reversible-motor pulls are in or pushes it out! All emblems are intact including the Vornado atomic crown grille badges.both plastic grilles have a futuristic space age latice design and are perfect and have no breaks or repairs! you never see these in this condition.
Fan works great and puts out a powerful jetstream of airflow.It measures about 24 tall and 7 deep.
