I was told that when one entertained polite company and crumbs from cake, bread, etc appeared on the linen at the table, that a person's wait staff would come by and delicately remove the offending crumbs by use of this type crumb sweeper!
It is made of aluminum the larger pan (approx 9" long and 7" deep) and the smaller scooper (7" long and 3.5" deep) are of the same design. The scooper has a wooden handle but there are no markings to determine the maker. It has some spots and I have not tried to clean it up at all.
This unusual and interesting set comes from a smoke free environment. The package weighs: 1 pound 4 ounces and measures: 13"X13"X3"
