UPDATE: After being away from eBay for a few weeks, I am back. Most of you know my story. I spent twenty two years in the Navy and was forced to retire after being injured in Iraq. I had major back surgery in January of this year and to help make ends meet here at home, I decided to sell my post card collection and my books that I have collected over the years. My four kids, Daniel 20, Timothy 18, Cristina 17 Priscilla 13 have been helping out as well. They have given me their stuff to sell as well. The boys are working full-time and are planning on joining the Navy next year. My wife and I are 100% behind them. My wife and I met in the Navy while we were both stationed in Great Lakes, IL. As I was recovering from surgery, we found out in May that the house we were living in for 3 years was in foreclosure. The owner hadn't paid the mortgage for awhile. The move wiped out our savings big time. Coming up with first, last security for the new place renting a truck set us back about five grand. As for the security deposit on the previous place, that is missing along with the owner. We are finally moved in and unpacked. As for all the hardships that have hit us, it has actually made us stronger as a family. Above all, our faith in God has also gotten stronger. It's time like this that we lean on Him more.
