This is a very nice bone handle navel type jack knife made by George Wostenholm marked I X L. This type of knife was used mainly by sailors from the Civil to Spanish American War especially Span Am. The knife s in good condition. There is a tiny chip by the tip of the blade and a small crack on the handle but when you see this knife you will not care. The handle are beautiful, thick heavy stag bone. The blade is super crisp it snaps open and shut. It is stamped on the tang in four lines George Wostenholm Sheffield England. The blade is also stamped IXL. The knife is almost 4 1/2 inches long closed. You will be very pleased with this one. I start all my auctions off at $2.00. t has nothing to do with the quality of the item, I let the bidders decide what it is worth. I accept Pay Pal, money orders or will hold checks until they clear. Buyer to pay postage costs. Good luck bidding on this nice IXL George Wostenholm bone handle jack knife.
