This is from the estate of Harriet Doud Lattimer. She was in her prime in the 1930's, doing fashion design for Adler Adler of New York City. This box is full of original design drawings, color studies, textile painting stencils and designs...this is truly an incredible find. What they were ready to throw away, we uncovered...what an opportunity for you vintage fashion collectors! The color studies and designs are just incredible...this box is full of suprises. Over one pound of materials here. Included here are two original petitions for the registration of an original model with the Fashion Originator's Guild of America. These were submitted by Adler Adler (located at 550 Seventh Avenue, Manhattan, New York)...sport dress - summer 1936 - printed linen. These are Miss Doud's original designs. The other petition is for fall 1936 and includes a swatch of the material, and is signed by Louis Adler, President of Adler Adler. Your bid is for the entire lot. I thought about breaking up the drawings and selling them individually...but this is an important collection to keep together. Don't let this opportunity pass you by.
