You are bidding on a BEAUTIFUL handstiched (standard)
full sized quilt. I am not sure of the name of the pattern, although I have seen it many times before.
This quilt has rich beautiful colors including green, red and yellow. It appears to be quite old, as you can see in the photo there is quite a bit of wear on the quilt top, but i think it adds beauty to the quilt as a whole and shows it's true age.
The part that is truely amazing to me is the actual quilting of this peice. My aunt and grandmother both were quilters and I have never seen such intrecate quilting. You can see the detail in the photos of the back of the peice.
There are some small stains on the back. I have not tried cleaning it, so they MIGHT come out with gentle cleaning. There are also a few worn and torn places on the edges, but nothing that would take away from the primitave charm of this quilt!
