Vintage Solid Sterling Silver Intricately Designed Set
This is a set of six small toast or biscuit plates. These are 6 3/4 wide by 1/2 deep. The weight of all six is 21.570oz. The mark I haven't been able to identify. It appears to be a lion or phoenix with two feet on top of a circle that (I think) is a W. It is worn on most of the dishes. The pattern is a viney type around the edge of the plate. The larger plate has an intricate design that is vine like with a cherub sitting on a pedestal. This one is 11 3/4 around and an 1 1/4deep. The weight of this gorgeous piece is 1lb and 5oz. The mark on this one is The Mauser Manufacturing Co. the mark is a unicorn that faces to the left. It also has stamped on it is STERLING, 3215 D, 925 1000 FINE. They all have HJG inscribed in the middle of the plate. This would make a great addition to any collection of sterling silver pieces. Please pay close attention to the pictures and ask all questions prior to bidding.
