An original World War One letter which includes the envelope. The envelope has the send to address of Toledo, Iowa. It is dated, Madison Wis June 10, 1918. The letter reads:
Dearest Alice
This is Monday 6:50 I have just had breakfast and have my bunk made up and swept under it......We also had a relay race this morning and our company came out second. I have been trying to think of some way you could address a letter so that I would get it but I don't know any way..........Chrissie
The letter is in very good condition.
