Iam auctioning off a pair of matching solid bronze Art Deco wall sconces circa from the early 1930s.
I know that these are 1930s or earlier because I removed them from my New York apartment building that originaly came with these in every living room.
They have recently ben painted a gun metal color and it looks pretty good that way, but if this is stripped off I assure you it is solid bronze.
Please note these Sconces MAY NEED TO BE REWIRED, the wires that are in place dont look bad but I think rewireing is the right thing to do. This is easily done with wires sold at Home Depot. The on and off turn switch may also need to be replaced. Again this can be obtained at the Home Depot.
You will also need bulbs and 2 pairs of socket covers (the plastic cover that look like candles) The socket covers are available at Home Depot lamp repair section for about $2 a pair.
These Sconces measure about 10 1/4 inches tall .
8 3/4 inches wide.
