This is a Five tube Black Dial Zenith. It has been well taken care of in my personal collection. Unfortunately it has been electronically untested and remains nonfunctional at this point in time. It doesn't light up or hum upon being plugged into an outlet. What I can tell you is it has been in my possession for ten years and when I first got it at that point it played. Whether or not capacitors opened up, or if there is grid leakage across a tube I do not know. If you look at the upper right hand corner a piece of the glass is broke off; however, all of it is at the bottom inside the radio so it can be reglued by the next owner. The knobs are all original and the finish is exceptional on this set. It shines as it did back on the showroom floor back when it was released. As with all vintage radios this pieces has its' character marks. Please feel free to study the pictures. Once again, Invest in Excellence and purchase this Zenith. Your collection is not and will not be complete without this gorgeous piece. The piece has no reserve at all. Do not wait to the last few moments of the auction to bid!
