FIVE CENT CHARLEY is a punch board from the early 1940's with 1000 unpunched holes. It measures approximately 10 9/16" X 9" X 1" thick. Shipping weight is 2 pound 7 ounces. This board has a gaming commission Stamp, from the state of Washington with the number 509842, and has the manufacturer's label, EMPIRE PRESS, INC. Chicago, ILL. It has the number 8417 handwritten on the punch key seal. This board is still in its original plastic wrap, although with age some of the plastic is torn, but does not affect the punchboard. Numbers ending in a "5" each win $.25 and numbers ending in "11" each win $.50. Numbers 413, 513, 613, 713, 813, and 913, each win $1.00.
